Eesmärk oli luua õhuniisuti, mis suudaks toota vähemalt 2,5 l ööpäevas, tarbimisega alla 2 W ja töötaks praktiliselt hääletult (alla 25 dB). Lisaks pidid õhuniisuti elemendid olema pestavad tavalises pesumasinas.

Peale mõningast katsetamist see õnnestus ja tulemused ületasid ootusi. Valmistasime kaks prototüüpi, mis on pikemaajalises katsetuses ning igapäevaselt töös. Voolutarve on 0,8 W, tootlikkus 4,5 l ööpäevas ja müratase jääb kindlasti alla 25 dB.

ENG Our target was to create a humidifier that could produce at least 2.5 litres in 24 hours, with power consumption of less than 2W and a maximum noise level of 25dB (basically silent running). Plus the humidifying elements needed to be machine-washable.

After a certain amount of trial and error we cracked it. In fact we not only cracked it – we exceeded our expectations. We produced two prototypes for longer, real-world testing in everyday conditions. Their numbers? Power consumption: 0.8W. Production: 4.5 litres in 24 hours. Noise: less than 25dB.
